We are a couple of food-motivated travelers based in Southern California, who are passionate about dining and hospitality. Throughout years of visiting, tasting, and experiencing, we continue to develop a deeper understanding of what sets great businesses apart from the masses. While we enjoy studying distinguished restaurants and destinations that are well-known for their greatness, we also love seeking out new projects and discovering hidden gems wherever we go. What draws us to these places is not the prestige of being seen at the hottest place in town or the exclusivity of snagging a hard-to-get reservation. The thing we seek is the excellence of the craft, whether it be a chef who has mastered flavors through decades of dedication, a hotel where the service is truly second to none, or a destination that is genuinely one of a kind. That is what we appreciate and that is what we want to showcase and share with you.
Our mission
Our primary mission is highlighting excellence in dining and destinations. We aim to do this through an uncomplicated approach that is honest, objective, and knowledgeable, yet relatable to anyone who is curious about these places just like we are.
Stemming from our primary mission, we also seek to provide insight where little exists. Many of the places we visit and feature are already well-advertised, with hundreds of reviews. However, a good number of the places we visit have little to no representation in terms of customer insight, and that is where My Life Uncomplicated fills the gap. We strive to provide detailed, helpful insight for prospective customers while increasing the presence and visibility of these great businesses.

My Life Uncomplicated aims to provide an insider’s perspective of places or experiences that may be out of reach or even unknown to many. We want to show that you don't need to be an elite to enjoy the finer things, and that sometimes what we put on pedestals may actually not be all that they seem. We strive for honesty, simplicity, and a life uncomplicated.
